La Dunkerquoise - Pur Beurre
These thin, buttery cookies are the perfect snack on their own or paired with tea, coffee, or ice cream. Their delicate crunch and rich flavor make them a timeless treat for any occasion.
Made with simple and real ingredients, the recipe has remained unchanged since its creation. La Dunkerquoise Biscuiterie was founded in 1904 by Louis Preneel in Malo-les-Bains as a bakery, originally known for its exquisite almond bread that drew locals every Sunday. In keeping with tradition, Preneel also began selling fine butter waffles to celebrate the new year, and their popularity grew so much that he began producing them year-round.
